Starting tomorrow, 15th February 2025, and continuing for three consecutive Saturdays, Andrea Motta’s SEO course returns to Catania, focusing on search engine optimisation and digital analytics. This unique training programme, hosted at the new Etna Digital Academy premises in Corso Sicilia, combines theory and practice, offering participants the opportunity to experiment with and immediately apply effective strategies in the world of search engines.

Who Is the Etna Digital Academy SEO Course For?

The course, which will involve twenty students from the Master’s programme at Etna Digital Academy, represents a valuable learning opportunity for those looking to deepen their knowledge of search engine optimisation and other aspects of the digital landscape.

The Master’s programme was presented at the latest edition of Catania Orienta, an event dedicated to raising awareness among young people in Catania about the importance of digital professions—fields that are not only the future but also the present of the job market.

The course will start with the basics of SEO, explaining what search engines are and how Google’s algorithm works. It will provide a comprehensive overview of the main categories of SEO: on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Participants will also have the opportunity to use key SEO tools, including Ahrefs, SEMrush, and SEO Juice—the only tool that allows for keyword research and other SEO-related activities free of charge. The programme will also feature exercises and quizzes to ensure a solid understanding of all topics covered.

Andrea Motta on His Return to Catania’s SEO Scene

Andrea Motta, a highly experienced SEO consultant with international credentials, is back to lead the course nine months after the last edition.

“I’m really grateful to Etna Digital Academy and its founders, Mirko Domanti and Davide Faranda, for inviting me back as a lecturer,” Motta said. “They recognise the value of my experience, both in Catania and internationally. Although I’ve now settled back in Catania after years working abroad, I still mainly collaborate with international clients. That’s why opportunities like this are so important to me—I get to share my expertise with the local community and give back some of what I’ve learned over the years.”

He also announced more training sessions on the way: “As well as this course, running on 15th February, 22nd February, and 1st March, I’ll be back with Etna Digital Academy for two more sessions: one between March and April in Linguaglossa (CT) and another in June in Catania. Watch this space!”
